Hastings Carnival Queen, Miss Hastings Tamara Gates (right) and her court - princesses Kemi and Mollie and the HASTINGS CREW of Drivers, Chaperones, Marshals and Popeye and Olive Oyle, all went to and thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas Party and atmosphere of this one and only Winter Christmas Parade that is staged within the cicuit...weather permitting!!! Saturday was the finest day for weeks!
Your Carnival Queen and Court received the very prestigious trophy awarded to the best team portraying 'THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS'

In the presence of Hastings' Mayor, Councillor Maureeen Charlesworth, our annual 'Donations Evening' when cash collected at last year's Carnival and Pram race was converted into cheques and presented to local good causes.
