Grand Procession of the Mayor, Cllr Godfrey Daniel, Carnival Queen and Princesses, together with the 1971 Carnival Queen, Monica Bane, to The Stables Theatre for the Finals of the Old Town Crier competition then over to All Saints Street to judge the "Best Dressed Window" competition - the winner to be announced at Winkle Island

A very interesting guided day tour across the atmospheric Romney Marsh, and focussing on some of our sister Cinque Ports, Limbs and Ancient Towns - all members of the historic Cinque Ports Confederation.
