Carnival 2008 is SATURDAY, 9th August 2008 6pm
Back to the old route - Rock-a-nore, seafront, round the fountain, back along the seafront, up High Street, across The Bourne, down All Saints Street and back to Rock-a-nore.


Carnival Queen Selection Evening Sunday 6th April 7pm Venue M - George Street
"Hastings Old Town Carnival Queen " contest for 2008/9 Hastings Old Town Carnival Queen and also "Miss Hastings". Entrants must be 18 or over and live in the Borough of Hastings and St.Leonards - click here for details of the event
Donations Evening - 9th March 2008 East Hastings Sea Angling Club 7 for 7.30p
It was decided at our last meeting that all previous organisations who had received donations from the Carnival in the past should re-apply. We would like to hear why you feel your organization should receive a donation and tell us a bit about what your organization does in the local area. New applications are also welcome and should be locally based. Also, if you take part in the Carnival either as a marshal or help in any other way. We would expect a representative to attend to collect your donation. Our decision will be made at our next meeting on February 20th so would need to reply by then. If your organization is lucky enough to be selected you will receive written confirmation within two weeks of our meeting.
