Fishermens Museum

Every day from 10am to 5pm
Special exhibition in our unique Fishermen’s Museum
‘A Journey Through the Archives’                                                                             
Entrance free, donations to Fishermen’s Museum welcome.  Wheelchair accessible.

Stade Open Space

10am to 5pm Tuesday 29th till 12th August.
Craft Exhibition in a Marquee Free. Stade Open Space
‘Follow the Herring – A Coat for a Boat’ a knitted celebration of the herring fishery.
Related Play Performance 31st July and 1st August “Get Up and Tie Your Fingers”  Part of a programme of activities following the route of the herring fishery down the east coast of the UK.

Hastings History House

Every day this week from 11am -4pm
Three new exhibitions at Hastings History House, 21 Courthouse Street.
The Cinque Ports – exploring the history of the Confederation in which Hastings played a major part; from the earliest records and before, their ceremonies and customs, some of which still take place today.
“Pageant of Heroes – Historical, Literary and Artistic of Hastings and St Leonards June 1st to June 6th 1914”. Discover how the town celebrated its famous associations and England’s history 100 years ago.
The First World War – a small display of items from the period, Thanks to HAARG for the loan of their display cabinet and to those who have loaned their material.
Entrance free, donations to OHPS welcome. Wheelchair accessible.
