Hastings Old Town Carnival Sea Court

Duties for the chosen Sea Queen, Sea King and two attendants

  • To figurehead Carnival Day.
  • To represent the Carnival at HOTCA events.
  • To attend Old Town Week events.
  • To attend other events in the Borough through the year such as Hastings Week and Jack-in-the-Green.

Criteria for entry (yes, it is that short a list!)

  • You must be over the age of 16.
  • You must live, work or study in Hastings or St. Leonards.

How to enter

  1. Complete the form and send to Ion Castro, 119, Braybrooke Road, Hastings. TN34 1TQ or email to or hand deliver to the History House, Courthouse Street, Old Town.
  2. Arrive, smartly dressed at the East Hastings Sea Angling Association (EHSAA) for 5.30pm.
  3. You will be introduced to the audience and judges, briefly interviewed by the outgoing carnival queen before the results are announced.     
I agree to the rules governing the selection of Hastings Old Town Carnival Sea Court (Miss Hastings & Mr Hastings) and attendants and give my permission for this and any other photographs or pictures taken in connection with this event or other events connected with Hastings Old Town Carnival to be used in connection with Hastings Old Town Carnival and / or Hastings Old Town Carnival Week
